Official BLACK X3 Photos Thread
Well I must say I am very happy. The purchase process was easy and my CA gave me a nice tour of the car. I do have questions mostly about IDrive and streaming audio... will find that on another thread.
So.. My drive home. I live about 15 miles from the dealer and close to 5000 vertical feet higher. So there is a nice stretch of road that I use as a test... If nothing else it is a long climb that can test some cars as evidenced by the numbers broken down by the side of the road. Most trucks make the climb at 15mph or less. So what I look for is to simply stick the car on cruise control and and let it go. See if it starts hunting for gears etc... Well. The car was whisper quiet at 80 and never onced look to down shift going up. I even left it in normal mode just to see. I am very impressed with the ability of this car on the open road so far. Its early but i like what I see. Also love the 3D Nav which is way cool in the mountians...! Thanks for all the repsonses and support. Anyway on to the pics! |

Hi people.
I saw this one in a local car magazine here in Norway a few months ago. They testet it during a long drive along the beautiful Norwegian scenery. This one is exactly the same as I have on order, except mine is Deep Blue Sea. I believe this is the first M sport pictured in this forum with alu exteriour trim. Or am I wrong? Anyways... Enjoy the pictures of this European spec beauty ![]() |

I am almost done blacking out my 35i.
Here's what i have done: 1. Powder coated the rims gloss black. 2. Painted the kidney grill gloss black. 3. Tinted the taillights with a medium tint. 4. Tinted the front windows to match the rest of the car (35% medium). I understand that some of you will not like it and it's not your style. If that's true I politely ask you to keep the negative comments to yourself, thanks. Also, the pics aren't great, I took them on my iphone. In the first pic, I hadn't done anything besides for tint the windows. Hopefully you guys think it's ![]() |

Haven't seen a 2015 LCI on here yet. So, here's mine...BSM 35i X-Line with premium pkg, nav, HK audio, cold weather pkg.
Just picked it up this week from dealer stock. I wish it had the upgraded seats but very nice car. PS - I have a 2015 M4 on order for March delivery...can't wait. (Sorry, I just had to gloat about that). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

New to the forum
Hello all, new member here! I've been a proud owner of my 2016 x3 since November. It's an Xdrive 28I with the X Line package in Sparkling Brown Metallic.
I know this is an Official Black thread, but to be honest, it looks black in most light, plus, I couldn't find an official Metallic brown thread. Interior color is Mocha Nevada Leather with orange stitching and packages include Weather, Driver assist and premium. So far the X3 has been flawless, it really exudes confidence with handling dynamics and moving power. The ride is comfortable and the electronics are easy to navigate. The car does have a few quirks though. My observations include: The double opening of the handle to exit the car. The double press of the auto start button to turn off the car. The foot activated rear hatch doesn't always work, unless I aim it perfectly. Other than those small inconveniences, the X3 is a solid machine! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
