I though it did ok. Surprised the merc had it as I've seen 1/4 miles way sub 12. Breaking surprised me as many moan about them but it was the best.

I'm on the crazy cheap deal (For the UK) and so much bang for buck considering the market now.

S58 is a gem standing up to the sadly soon to be killed v8s

Alfa had an Akra exhaust on it and the AMG had winter tires. Winter tires? That definitely hurt the braking on the AMG. Not sure how much they impede the launch/acceleration

The Akra exhaust is actually a build option from Alfa in the UK/EU.

Considered all these, plus the Macan Turbo. Chose the Jag. Two years later it is my favorite car I have owned. All excellent machines with different strengths.

Jag surprised me the most, basically at (F)pace with X3MC. I did also think the M would take the AMG more so at speed but that thing moves.

And that interior/seats in the Benz.

Don't know why, maybe i like cars with softer lines, but the 63's exterior is the best looking to me

So is Matt ever going to do a proper comparison test examining how these cars actually drive?

Pointless drag races with no relevance to the real world.

I got its Range Rover sibling and agree that it's so damn impressive. Not sure I'd say best car I ever owned but it's up there. If JLR can improve their reliability I wouldn't mind getting another one as a replacement. Enjoy your SVR!

It doesn't sound like they used launch control on any of them, impressive times across the board if so.

Man I love Carwow but they keep putting that numbnuts in the drivers seat. A proper driver with an X3MC and it wins all competitions.

Amg did some tweaking, pre lci lost to x3m

Power and speed war is back on!

X3m lci needs to bring some more vroom!

On another note im surprised Alfa and jag didn't break down during so many runs 🤣

They also quoted the torque for the LCI on the X3M.

if you look at 8.57, you can see the rear of the X3 dropping before the start, suggesting launch on that run. Not sure about the others though.

I wonder if a new LCI X3M with no pano-roof would've given the Merc a better run.
