I used codemybimmer..... there's no practical alternative for getting the headlights coded, so I had them code the rest as well.

I wonder if anybody have a problem with the harsh close of the trunk. It can be anything, but not "soft-close"...
Having an previous X1 F48, I've coded the trunk to really soft-close, using the instructions from this video:

Anyone know how can be coded the same speed reduction for the G01? Bimmercode show other options in Expert Mode comparing with the F-series.

Interesting, I don't seem to have that problem — it closes fine. I try to stay away from expert mode, but did you happen to take a screenshot of what's there?

Can someone confirm is ASD (Active sound) can be fully turned OFF with BimmerCode on a PreLci m40i with the HK sound system?
I am seeing mixed results on if turning if off actually does anything or not.

I do have BimmerCode but I’m pretty sure it’s not doable. It was done through the hardware from the BimmerTech remote start kit .

I cannot believe for the price paid, BMW would still hide the functions of text message and email to charge extra!!! This is stupid.

Can you show image of where the emails and text messages will be displayed as notifications? AFAIK, I only get text messages on iDrive7 with Android, on iOS Carplay I only get notification of missed call but I have to go into Carplay to check new text messages every once in a while.

Rear cross traffic warning: Does anyone know how to configure blind spot monitor and the sound alert to always come on when rear cross traffic visual red alert light up, regardless if car is in motion? And is it possible to configure the front parking audio alerts (the beeping when you approach object) to happen sooner at farther distance?

Did u try locking and then holding trunk open key? Im guessing. Since i BCoded the trunk to open on remote only after unlocked...i have to hold the open key for a few secs to open it...

The rear cross traffic warning just isn't very good in general... sometimes it goes off and others it doesn't... even when moving so I would say no.

Have you tried keeping the tailgate button pressed ? You have to press and keep it pressed until the tailgate closes .

If I have 5AS Driving Assistant and 5AV Active Guard, does that mean I have SAS10 Optional Extra Equipment needed for adjusting Blind Spot Detection speed, Lane Keep speed, and Cruise Control speed? Then why don't I see those options? Screenshot and logs below.

Not sure this counts, because I'm pretty sure you need Bimmergeeks ProTool to do this as Bimmercode doesn't give access to the VDC module. But I'm pretty sure I figured out how to fine tune the stiffness of the comfort/sport damper settings for those of us that have adaptive dampers:

Does anyone know the code changes in Bimmercode expert mode to enable the 6UX delete function for the touch controller ?

I have a new touch controller that supports this function but I cannot find how to enable it when I swap it over.

Or does anyone know if it actually needs enabling ?
