MDM and 4WD Sport
All my BMWs have had xDrive, and I haven't driven a RWD car in this century.
That said, and this may be a placebo effect, but yesterday I was out having fun and put the X3MC in MDM and then in DSC-off-4WD-Sport mode, and I could swear the car felt differently when cornering under throttle. I wasn't going hard enough to get the back to slide out, but it felt like less power was going to the front and thus I wasn't feeling the AWD feeling of the front wheels digging through a sharp turn. Or is this totally my imagination? |

4WD Sport makes it nearly RWD. Careful because that back end will definitely try to come around if traction slips. I had one moment which I don't care to talk about Regular 4WD is still rear biased quite heavily.

I find the traction control reigns things in pretty quickly if the rears break traction.
