Additional coverage for wheels or maintenance?

Anyone get wheel and tire coverage or extend their care to 4/50k? I think it's stupid that I have a lease for 45k miles on the 2022 X3MC I'm having delivered next week or two from now, and it is only covered for 36k miles (if I'm interpreting the documentation correctly). I may extend coverage for brakes alone. I'm only using stock rims in the winter, and regardless, I'd probably pay a deductible of 500 for a replacement if I ever destroyed one over paying nearly 3k for coverage I may never use. I also have a guy who re-finishes wheels in the event that it becomes necessary.

I wouldn't buy it on a leased vehicle.

What about extending to 4/50k in case brakes are needed by the end? I use engine braking a lot and my 340 has 44k with 10k to go before brakes which won't be my issue in two weeks anyway

buy a wear and tear protection

bmw offers it up to 5k in damage on lease returns

so if you need brakes or tires you will be covered

How much does that typically cost? Thank you for making me aware of this.

Last year when we were considering a lease it was $995 upfront or in the lease payments if I remember correctly. Totally worth it
