Congrats Paul1976 !

Whenever I see the car in that orientation I can't help but see the tail lights as a tooth x-ray (hence my avatar!)

Maybe just me??

Hi it looks like the designer from BMW must have had a tooth X-ray and then saw the pattern and a had a light bulb moment!

I ordered the one that the_ape and some others ordered in this thread:

https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1889430

The link I had saved is no longer valid, but it was the liner for the X3 (suitable for the iX3) at the time.

A current link for the iX3 or searching for the iX3 gets you here but the product code is 202069000

https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rb...box&query=8870

The actual product code I ordered was 202067000 and a search for it (X3) takes you here after choosing the third available liner.

https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rb...5rEV1~c6ZyJL0_

My liner fits perfectly so I am not sure there is any difference between the one some of us have already purchased and the one now stated as being specifically for the iX3. One obvious difference is £17.55 extra for the one stated specifically for iX3 but looking at the images the one for the X3 seem more accurate!

NB: The X3 version still states it is for the iX3 and not suitable for hybrid models so with the same part number some of us have ordered I cannot see any reason not to order the cheaper one!

Hope that helps.

keninuk Thanks for that awesome reply! Is it easy to reach the little storage compartment underneath the floor with this mat?

It is a bit awkward as the mat is quite stiff and I have the subwoofer on it, but I can lift it enough to get the locking wheel nut out without too much effort.

I only keep the granny cable charger and a 10m heavy duty extension cable under the floor so not an issue for me as I haven't used either in 10 months of owning the car.

I do find I need to give it a push/wiggle from time to time as the mat moves a little and the cut-out for the boot latch starts to encroach on latch area but other than that I am happy with it.

Spiral cable is one of my favorite purchases so far.

It's practical and makes the car remind me a bit of a 90's phone, when plugged in.
