Hope color matching side mirrors will be available. I had that silver or whatever they call it on my M235i and didnt care for it much.
Interior not looking as upscale as I had hoped if I am being honest. Wonder if that's Dakota? Maybe an upgrade in a richer color and step-up in leather quality will sexy it up? I'm coming from F'10 535 with Oyster Nappa. It probably wont be as luxurious a finish - but am hoping it's closer than what I see now. Those must be 21's?

Yup -- I thought the same, but wasn't sure. Maybe angle of pix? Maybe that steering wheel shortage is true? Zero chance I'd plunk $$ down yet without assurance (in writing) from the dealer thats what I'd be getting

Nope, not an angle issue. You can easily tell by the shape of the airbag, and lack of “seams”on it.

The exterior pictures are confusing.
You have what seems to be a G01 X3 30i with an M-Sport front with M Performance M40i 21" 718M wheels and M Performance M40i badge and exhaust at the rear. Steering wheel on the interior is clearly a Sport Steering Wheel and not a M-Sport Steering Wheel. What a mess huh?

All these years the one thing that's been puzzling to me about spy photographers is why do they never try to get the VIN number? All these answers would've been answered now.

Anyway, the knock on the X3 earlier on was that the inside didn't look luxurious enough so they went and added a lot more wood trimmings but then when I look at the 2018 X3, it looks like they scaled back on the wood trimmings, unless I'm just not seeing the whole picture. |

The VINs by the windshield are blocked off. If you can get them to pop the hood, you could get a shot, that's the only way I could get the VIN off the Carbon Black M Performance one in Frankfurt.

I wasn't sure about the use of wood in the G01 c/w previous versions, so took a few pictures of our 2012 X3 35i and placed them together. Although they did change where it goes, overall looks to be about the same amount of Wood surface area used, give or take. |
