What does your son think of the M240? It’s on my short list in a year when the X3M lease is up

He loves it coming from a Focus RS. I drove it a few times and it's a very nice care. Plenty of power for its size. Nimble and good in the turns with xDrive. I like the seat more than my M4 though there is no lumbar adjustment. Stock exhaust sounds great. Nice stance from the rear.

I'm jealous of the interior compared to my blah black.

I definitely recommend you test drive one. They only last a day on my dealer's lot. We went up to check out a used previous Gen M240i and this one was there. I am now a fan of the gray colors

A lot of great cars in here. I'm coming from an Audi RS3. Usually only hold one car at a time as a daily but multiple bikes. Have a 2022 Super Duke R 1290 EVO taking up garage space right now.

1991 E30 M3 bunks up top. 🙂 Looks how small the E30 looks next to the X3.

Isn’t it a shame how large vehicles have gotten? My biggest complaint about the X3 is the size for my lifestyle. At the time of purchase the M3 was nearly a year away so I relented and bought an SUV. I have a 1991 Civic Si where my sight line is the bumper of most midsize sedans. It’s intimidating to drive nowadays with the size of modern vehicles and the general inattentiveness of its drivers.

We're down to two BMWs at the moment (340 and X3M) but here are some past as well...the 335d and e30 may have been my favorites

It really is. When I'm in the E30 it's almost scary and all we have here are SUVs and Trucks.

The X3 is the same size as the first gen X5 for the most part. When that came out I thought it was HUGE!!!
