Nice, I've been waiting for someone to get a blue. In images it seems to be about half way between Mediterranean and Estoril, though I couldn't really tell if the similarities with Estoril are just white balance making it look lighter. Your first shots look a lot more Estoril, the second post next to the Mediterranean is much darker. Can't wait to see one in person. Last edited by sor; 10-30-2017 at 04:43 PM.. |

Here is the shot of the front of mine. We did get the active cruise control so you can now see the radar device.

Glad to see you are getting closer, bwcooper, and thanks for sharing your photos - looks great! Once you are allowed to purchase, run some winding country roads out there and you will quickly see what the G01 brings to the table!
And many thanks to all for the great comments across the board, and apologies for not responding to each. This is a wonderful forum for passionate and enthusiastic folks interested in automotive engineering and performance, and I appreciate the knowledge and experience which so many share here. I'll try to get a few more pictures on some other areas of the G01 posted later tonight or tomorrow morning, but also hope those starting to receive their G01s are also able to share some photographs as well, if possible. |

Was going to ask if the rails are under the rubber mat but I see that was answered. It's now pretty that the spare is not a no-cost option when it comes to cargo space.

I'm glad to see quite a few people go with the 19". I was struggling myself between getting the practicality of the 19s vs the sexiness of the 20s...
Also, the blue looks amazing, cant wait to get mine too! |

Is the plate just mounted between the sensor and the grill? I'm wondering how it'll look as I ordered the Driver Assistance Plus package but I won't see my car for a number of weeks.

Headrest positioning
I'm not sure how well this will show the range of motion of the headrests, as it was difficult to hold the iPhone in exact position and also move the headrest, but here it is. Just as before, to raise and lower push the tab at the base then pull upwards. The button midway in the rest then allows the fore and aft as pushed. Not a lot of motion but certainly enough to find an individualized comfort zone.
Interesting how the late afternoon sun filtered onto the black-leather on the seat front - now can see how purple leather in a BMW would look! |

Removing Cargo Cover and Stowing
Further refinement of the Cargo cover and the removal process in the G01. There is a tab on the right which needs to be depressed first, and if you don't know what you are looking for it can be missed as it blends in well with the design elements. Also, I didn't realize that a portion of the cover extends underneath the side flooring (beneath the netted alcove), so one needs to be sure not to store anything too tall in that sub-area as it will block the ability for the cover to slide into that zone (mistake we initially made as my wife wished for items to be placed in there before we realized that).

I'm embarrassed to say, nyalpine90, we haven't even opened it yet to look. We spent most of the weekend getting familiar with the electronics and finding spots for all the stuff she had in her previous X3. She has it at work now, but I'll make a note to check it out when she gets home, if someone doesn't chime in on this before then. Sorry!
