BM3 Stage 2+ datalog

I just flashed to a stage 2+ 93 octane BM3 map after installing a new tu pump, catless downpipe, and new injectors. I知 running a couple gallons of e85 in the tank to clean up some corrections I was having on the stage 1 map. Looks like I知 still getting a couple degrees of correction with the new map. Thought?

Did you warm up your car before going wot? Either you got a beast of a cooling setup or your temps are just wrong according to bm3, OR your just a little too excited after new parts lol

Just a wild guess that it may be messing with your run.

Haha I definitely let it warm up first. Here痴 another one after work. This was after running on the highway for 10 minutes.

Interesting. Nothing significant stands out besides your timing being pulled and you have knock again. If I was you, I'd start over with all 93 and then add ethanol as you go. Without an ethanol sensor, were just guessing right now and then you'll find out when you have too much ethanol when your hpfp crashes on that map.

I知 almost due for a fill up so I値l do that. I知 the meantime I threw in the towel and went down to a stage 2 91 map. No knock but still a few degrees of correction. I reached out to odintuned through bm3 for a custom map. 🤞🏻 we値l see how that goes

Probably the wisest of choices if you were heading that route anyways. Good luck!

I admire you gen 1 guys that can put out 685Nm Torque with stage 2 even with so much timing corrections!

My gen 2 on stage 2 with zero corrections can only reach 640Nm.

But anyway, if you want clean timing, just fill up more E85. I do up to 4 gallons for a full tank of ACN91 that will run stage 2 93 map fully clean.

To my understanding, adding more ethanol than your map expected actually hurts nothing because the DME constantly adjusts its fuel injection in a close loop. Your AFR will almost be met as long as HPFP can hold it.

I even run E40 on stage 2 93 map and that shows no issue in the log and just as fast as a more normal fuel mixture

Funny thing is I sent my logs to both Odintuned and subpartuning. Odintuned hasn稚 responded yet but Doug told me my logs showed absolutely nothing to worry about and the amount of corrections I知 getting are normal 🤷🏻‍♂️. He advised to reset a few adaptations and run it again. So I did that yesterday and filled up with straight 93. Here are the results. Still more than I知 comfortable with. But who am I to disagree with one of the best b58 tuners?

Your comment about the coolant temp had me thinking. When I flashed to stage 2+ I did select the max cooling option and noticed no matter how long I drive around it never got more than around 170 degrees. When I reflashed yesterday I deselected that option and now I知 around 230.

That pump must've been working overtime! LOL

I normally would see 210-220.

If the tuner says your good, then so be it. I'd start worrying once your actual timing goes negative.

👍
