Yep, I got mine thrown in as a "gift" as well....in addition to all-weather mats. Made it a lot easier to love it.

I like it. It has a clean integrated look, but not for $20 plus $14 for shipping!

I really only use a car cover when we are expecting snow or ice. This does not happen in central Virginia all that often. I figure that this helps make clearing snow and ice easier and reduces the chance of scratching the paint by using a snow brush or ice scraper on the car.

You can find better deals out there. You'll also get discounts from BMW on accessories that could be applied for this as well.

Anyone use STO N SHO license plate holder on their X3? They use them on m3 and m5's, but haven't seen it mentioned on the X3?

Also, AdamsPolish I assume is fine?

Thank you.

Also, the reviews on Amazon for the screen protector are poor. Any recommendations on a screen protector?

I bought one of the screen protectors, but haven't yet installed it (and it's been months).

X3s ship from the factory with protective plastic on the screen. It's hard to tell, and many dealers forget to remove it. Some dealers don't even know it's there, and many owners don't realize, either (well, not until it starts to look ugly, scratched, and bubbled).

Me, I'm leaving the plastic in place (it doesn't look bad), and I might install the protector once the plastic starts to look fugly. Or maybe not.

Which protector did you buy? I would leave the plastic on too.

I had one of those, they’re absolute garbage, the sticks only last for 2-3 days which gets extremely expensive with the price of the refills!

This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079LGB8YK

However, it, like the other ones from amazon, are 1-2mm too narrow on each side (left & right).

You can also go whole hog with this set of placemat

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DNYYLSB...sms_tai_yArgCb

While you are there, you can also check out the center console organizer (by the same seller) which I am currently using...

LOL - great minds think alike?

Since you already have the placemat, I suggest you check out the center console organizer if you have not already...

I rec'd mine today, installed every mat I could, and still have a few left over.

What less than obvious places am I forgetting?

Thanks!

go back to the selling page at Amazon and check out the pictures. They show you where to put them.

Yup Ordered the one from Ebay - it took a month to get here but it has the M logo with the white border. I wanted that to match my Cubby set which is also in the white option, not the red

I’ve got this. Pretty good stuff. I can’t figure out where item 11 goes. They show it fitting inside rear center console, which they show having a lid. I don’t think we have a lid, do we?
