Just ordered M40i

Hey Guys
I just put my deposit down for a 2019 M40i.

Build is as follows
Phytonic Blue Metallic
Black Vernasca with Blue Stitching
Aluminum Rhombic Trim w/ Satin chrome highlight
Ultimate Package Enhanced
M sport differential

Should be getting it sometime in March.

Cannot wait

Congrats! That's very similarly spec'd to our X4 M40i. I think you'll love it.

March? I think you'll get it way sooner than that. There was a forum member who was from Toronto and he got his in about 2 months. Did they give you a specific production week already?

They have an allocation for Feb. Will know more next week when they put it in the order.

March is better for me as my 340 comes off lease then and I dont have to buy winter tires until next year.

Nice. Yea I am excited. It's going to be my first SUV and first auto...have had manuals only before.

Mine says "begin production" today too. How do you know 2 weeks?

I meant 2nd week of Jan is when production will start. I think I read somewhere it takes 36 hours to build but dont quote me on that.

Looks like production is complete and waiting for it to get on the train. No idea how long it will take but am starting to get really excited 😁

I had a smile on the entire time I was on the test drive even though it didnt have all the options I have picked

Especially stoked about the blue after have 3 black BMWs the last 8 years

I'm on the same boat, but hasn't heard yet an expected week for delivery.

They wont confirm week of delivery as they cannot control the logistics side of the car on the train and then getting delivered to them.

Awesome. Post pictures. I just message my dealer. All I got next month. I doubt it. My understanding is production Feb 20. Not sure how long to manufacture takes, then shipping then prep. 🤬
