replace parking sensor

Hi All,

I want to replace a front parking sensor for my F25, is there a way to do that without removing front bumper?

Thanks

Hi, i did on my e83, on the front I could do some with arm and long fingers , you need to check if you can open some of the plastic shieldings and get through there, but the right ones need to be bad, otherwise bad luck anf bumper needs to get off….. good luck! Ralph

I replaced the right front one without removing bumper , turned out to be a frayed wire . Removed wheel then pulled back wheel arch liner . Not hard and no reason to remove bumper . Maybe if it’s the middle could be a problem , but would try first .

bringing this back as now I have an issue.

I noticed that the sensor was going off like something was directly in front of it, even when I was stopped at a light with no cars in front of me (see attached picture).

i found out that I could spray WD40 on the sensors to clean them, and that appeared to have worked, but in the process, the driver side sensor next to the tire got pushed in (see attached picture).

can I remove the bumper (see attached picture) to fix this myself? and if so, how?

thanks!

Access through the wheel well liner. Remove wheel then liner and it will be in plain view.
