Auto engage handbrake when putting the car in park

Is there a setting where you can have the electronic handbrake engage when you hit the P. Went through my menus a bunch of times couldn't find this option, don't know if it exist?

No. I’m not sure if you can get it coded to do so though.

Activate the auto hold and you'll never have to touch the handbrake button again, park up, engine off, handbrake is automatically applied. That's in addition to it holding you at the stop lights etc...

I could be wrong, but I believe it stays on and saves the setting until you deactivate it.

You do, but being lazy myself I worked out pretty quickly that it does, always willing to do stuff that makes things easier.

Just press it and it's on as a default.

so the autoH works but then there is the small issue of annoyance when parking my previous car was an alfa and there was a setting when I can auto engage handbrake when shifted into P but I am ok with this small annoyance because its an x3m haha.
