Key word is supported CarPlay vehicles. Pretty sure this feature isn’t supported in the current X3.

Yeah, definitely not in its current form. It could MAYBE be enabled with a OTA update on the BMW side but I would rank this as very, very unlikely as it would be an easy thing to dangle as a feature available on certain new models to catalyze your decision to buy a new BMW.

iOS 17.4 doesn’t have CarPlay 2.0. OP is asking about Apple Maps showing in the instrumental cluster which is available for BMWs with iDrive 8.
