Why does BMW promote Launch Control? Yes, I can understand this for M versions but not for regular 30i and 40i versions. Is this a big selling point or BMW is so confident with their engines that they believe consumers will not be able to abuse this no matter what they do.
Do other manufacturers do this?
Ehhh a 30i does NOT have LC. So no they do not promote it on those models. Also I do not recall BMW promoting LC on any model. Hard driving around a closed course is about it.
Thats like saying why does KIA promote 140mph on the dashboard but you can only go 65 “legally”. Just because its there doesnt mean you should use it.

First of all as an owner of an X4 30i 2023 I would know this. And yes they do promote it in a way because it is in the manual and in idrive 7 with the procedures.
It’s certainly not hidden so that you have to use BimmerCode to get it.

If you have your own business and the point of that business is to make money, wouldn't you do everything to capture your customers from any angle?

Yes, I agree. However, to do this here you need to have a very good product. And they do.
Kudos to BMW

My driveshaft cost me 3018.39 total with parts and labor, they charging you 3236 for just the driveshaft?
With mine was 700 and 2 hours of work o not end
