Thinking busy area like an airport car park and using parking mode radar.
Yes, of course, you should least get 30hrs out of a 7500mAh external battery, still a lot better than other brands. my old Blackvue lasted 16-20hrs in parking mode with the same battery. One good thing about the Solis Hotspot is that it has built-in battery and you can use it to recharge other devices. So it should use up all the power from the internal battery first then use the power from Powercell 8. We drive our X3 pretty much every day, it takes about an hour to recharge the powercell 8, so we should never run out of power, so far anyway. U3000 is not known for image quality, I buy it for the extended parking mode. To me it's more important to be able to capture something while my X3 is parked than to be able to capture all license plates while driving. It's all about priority and what's important to the buyer.

I have absolutely no issues with garmin mini powered from the rain sensor. It’s 1 camera though.

Where did you get power ? Can you please share some photos ? Did you get the hardwire kit and if so , can you please show the photos from the fuse box ?

Does the rain sensor provide a permanent live power feed for the dashcam parking mode when the car is off/locked ?

How long does the Garmin motion activated parking mode operate before reaching battery depletion cut off ?
