Can you fit a used vdc1 module??

Hi all,

Can you fit a used vdc1 module if existing was to go faulty?
Reason I ask is my local garage has said you can only fit brand new as it needs to be coded and can only be coded once??

Yet I see several used modules for sale all over Ebay and other sites.

Anyone know?

Yes you can fit a used part, you will just have to code it with ISTA/P.

How about coding via Foxwell or BimmerCode? I have a used lift gate module on the way.

I have just ordered a foxwell nt520. Didn’t realise these were capable of coding things like this.

Yep. My preloaded 520 is on its way. So you're saying we can code modules with the 520?

Just so happens that I just removed my VDC1 module. I'd be happy to sell it to you!
PM me if interested!

The VDC1 is an air suspension module. Correct? Don't need that one. But I would like clarification that any of these modules can be coded by the NT520.

No vdc1 is for electronic suspension not air suspension like the e70.

I too would like to know weather the vdc1 module can be coded via nt520
