2022 X3M Competition
Color: Alpine White
Interior: Sakhir Orange
Trim: Carbon Fiber

Options:

- Competition Pack
- Exec. Pack
- Ventilated Seats
- Remote Start
- Mobility Kit
- Driving Assistance Pro
- Style 892M Wheels
- Red Calipers

Apology in advance if this going to be too long. I'll try my best to keep it short and simple.

Finally took delivery of the x3m today after waiting almost a month while it was in transit. As most of you guys are aware by now regarding the "Main Bearing Seal". I was devastated when I heard about it because my production date falls within that time frame. I didn't know what do. As of right now my vin is not affected per my SA, all the sites, and BMW NA. So they gave me a green light to take delivery of the car. Am I concern at all? No, not really because I know BMW NA will make it right for everyone that's affected by the recall.

When I saw the car in person….It was like love at first sight. Even now I'm giggling and feeling so surreal. Feeling like a kid on Christmas Day! Not sure why but I'm more happy about getting this car than when I bought a brand new house. Lol

Didn't have much seat time (only 50 miles) so far. The car is so snappy, interior is very refined, it's quick as hell for a car this size/weight, and the suspension in comfort is perfect. Coming from a e46 m3, I don't think the suspension is stiff at all. The Harmon Kardon system is great not the best but great.

As of now, will try to find some time to set everything up. Not be able to drive it as much because I wfh and it's pouring here in Seattle. Want to get PPF, tint, ceramic before taken her out. They can't get me in until 11/9

Here are a few pictures along with my e46 m3. Will post more once I install all the mods I have sitting around.

Here is my IG as well if you want to follow my builds over there. @bui_gtspec

Mods list:

-Xpel PPF
-Ceramic coating
-Painted reflectors
-H&R 12mm spacers
-Custom painted engine cover
-Weathertech mats interior and tailgate
-Autoteknic cf steering wheel trim
-Autoteknic cf seat covers
-M performance gas cap
-M performance CF strut bar
-OEM door projectors x4
-OEM door slides x2
-OEM M black valve stems
-OEM CF M plate frame
-RG Sport Midpipe
-Burgertuning G8x front mount intake
-INDIV CF center console trim

1. yes
2. yes everything is on a timer once the engine is off, unless the seat belt is buckled. You would do this when coding or testing.

Thank you guys. Always wanted an Alpine White and went with it this time around. No regrets, pictures doesn't do the car/color any justice. The contrast is just perfect.

danniexi You can have my e46

thestimp thank you for the info!

Poffman The Renton port is about 2 week behind. What color combo did you ended up with?

Oh man, 2 weeks, that's lame. I found it down there at Renton sitting. I did marina bay blue, competition, 892M's, all black interior.

Congrats! Thought this may have been the one in inventory in Tacoma but the store looks like Bellvue

I just got my allocation for a MBB comp today through Northwest though I live in downtown seattle. Will have to coordinate a meet with all the x3m owners I've been seeing in the area while lurking

The one in Tacoma was my original allocation and spec. But the GM didn't want to work out a deal with me since I'm a new customer to them. So I passed on it and got a good discount with my buddy in NY. BMW Bellevue assisted with the courtesy delivery for free while Fife and Seattle wanted 1,500 and 2,000 respectively.

On top of that, the car in Fife right now is affect by the recall and the car is "Stop Sale". Dodged a bullet, fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I have a 2020 model so things might be different but.....

1. Press the green circle to pop up an iDrive menu to deactivate safety functions. May be called "individual" to deactivate specific ones.
2. Locking the car shuts down all displays and electronics. To leave the car unlocked in a garage, unlock the car first and do a long press on the radio volume knob to deactivate displays and electronics.

So I currently have my profile logged in/synced with my BMW APP. If I were to drop the car off for valet or PPF service. Do I delete my profile so they don't have access to it or is there an option I can turn it off for the time being?

Mine went in production from 8/18 and was completed at the end of the month 8/31. Honestly they all can be different but expect about a month to be on the safe side.

Late post, been busy with work etc. but so happy to get the car back with full ppf and ceramic coating.

The e46 M3 is happy to have a new stablemate. Also installed or put on a few subtle mods.

Need to get the OEM cf strut bar but trying to justify paying that much for one. [IMG][/IMG]

Seems to be a bunch of us from Seattle, we should all meet up. My MBB goes into production week 1 2022. If anyone needs mods/ out of warranty work done, hit me up. I have a friend who is a long time tech at BMW who can help and charge way less than the shops out here.

Did you PPF and ceramic the rims? How much does it help in cleaning them? And do they stay cleaner for longer as a result? Congrats on the car, it looks great in white. I’m considering white or MBB, leaning to white as your pics are fabulous.

You can't ppf the wheels but can ceramic it. It helps a lot with the brake dust and need to use a pressure washer. You can also get different brake pads from r33_RGSport that will produce less brake dust.
