Yes it sucks! My car was build 26/07-2022 and went to code 165 july 29... i told my dealer today that i wont accept paying for the tax hike. He promised me that he would everything in his power, and eat the tax himself.

How do they assure more ships when they are using scheduled sailings rather than chartering ships.

My car was built 31st August it arrived at port on 6th September and that was the last update its fell off the radar since then.

I'm being told 7th November delivery to the dealer which we all know won't happen if the car is still in China.
BMW are claiming they have no way of tracking the vehicle once it's handed over to the distribution partner.

I'm just fed up of being lied to by BMW they lied to get the order and now they are lying to keep the order.
The only reason I chose the IX3 over the EQC was the delivery timeframes.

Exactly the same days we have production and change to 165 and the dealer told me that I have 190 status on 14/10 but he didn’t send me screen shot as usual and I am afraid not telling me lies .

It is very strange. I read on other forums that cars ordered 1 week to 1 month later have a delivery date set at the dealer (like, the car is there and prepped).

I have now recieved an update from the lease company with a shift from March 23 to Mid November 22 but nothing from our fleet management (I need to turn in my current car and right after pick up the new car).

Mine has a transported to Dalian date of 24th of July, but I guess if BMW give a delivery date of 1 month further, that they know where the car is. Otherwise they wouldn't updated the date towards the leasecompany.

Thanks to the YouTube channel Solent Ships, they have a webcam that overlooks the QE2 cruise terminal which also shows one of the car import docks in the background.

Altair Leader appears to be on the middle left, noticeable by the NYK Lines funnel house colours.

Ok, so I got a bit excited by the arrival of Altair Leader and thought I’d check in with genius.

I am told still 195, but the description is now ‘at the port of entry’ apparently.

Suppose I will check again in a days time and see if the code has changed.

Right, I saw that post, but they're guessing the build date based on status changes. They haven't looked up the actual date.
I'm certain either the build date or delivery date is incorrect in this particular case. Just doesn't sound plausible.

Arval are now concurring with Genius, delivery expected 19 December. Built 28th July, Status 195 at sea. At least it will be a nice Christmas present if it doesn't slip.

Just checked in with Genius again. Status code changed to 193 since this morning ‘arrival at port’ and delivery estimate to dealer has updated from w/c 14 Nov to wc 30 oct.

Anyone else has similar?

Backwards here, now saying 1st week of December (though forwards that were now 195!). At least that may now mean it’s actually shipped!)

At this rate I’ll be looking forward to a ‘23 plate!
