No regrets, love the colour too, and the different shades depending on type of day. The one great thing about this colour is that it hides general road grime and dirt so good until you get up real close, also very easy to clean and appear cleaner for longer.

Luckily I’m not in the market because this would be a tough decision on color.

I really like the dramatic statement it makes but not crazy about the light bluish tinge. It reminds me of a trendy color you don’t see anymore - powder puff blue.

Another trendy color which comes to mind is copper and that light lime green. I used to see all three for a few years and now I never see them.

It is a tough one because I would worry about getting sick of the color but damn it looks good particularly with the red leather. These pictures also remind me what a great looking car the X3 is…when BMW's design team nails it they really nail it…same with the X5

Does anyone have any images of a BG M40i with blue calipers?

Looking to get the Tacora red interior but I'm just not a fan of the red calipers

Get BG w/ either color caliper

I went with red to take one less color outta the equation...the red matches the taillights

Blue would be ok too

But you're going Tacora Red already so I'd suggest that you maintain the focus

Trust me...it's perfect

Looks great; blue goes well with BG, and is not jarring like the red calipers.

I personally think BG is a awesome color as I have it on my G80 m3. But on a larger vehicle it kinda looks weird. my x3m40i is S Blue with cognac.

I agree, I did order BG on my m40i and kinda wish I can go back and do phytonic blue instead but it's already in 150 status.

Overall, I think BG looks really good in person but the pictures don't do it justice. On the other hand, PB looks good in pictures, but looked different when I saw it in person.

Don't. I had PB before this one, and the BG is way better IMHO. Looks great in person.

I think it's amazing and I think it's the STANDOUT feature on my X3... everyone has something to say about it.

As opposed to what someone else here said... I think BG looks terrible on a G80M3... in fact, I would go as far as to say the G80 looks terrible in every color except black but that's a different opinion.

From the standard colours for the M40i I still think its the pick of the bunch. I loved it the first time I saw it in real life, a few months later I was thinking I would be seeing it all the time due to its popularity, 10 months in still only seen two other BG X3's or any other model for that matter. Still get loads of compliments. I like Phytonic Blue from pics I have seen on here and also Dark Grey but I wouldn't swap.

Looks almost silver in this sunny autumn morning pic.

Had BG on order until I realized at the time that every second new BMW leaving the dealership floor was BG…was worried it would be a phase that I would grow out of. In the end I ordered BSM and couldn't be happier. Still like BG though

I don't mind it but agree, it might go out of style quickly. Kind of like Toyota's dull tan that looks like coffee with a lot of cream in it. But then, anything is better than white! Nothing says chick car or rental like white.
