Seems counter intuitive given how BMW setup some M cars, having m’balls fitted in LCA and rubber in tension strut.

Yes I will be using stock OEM bushings, I am looking to lessen deflection but not willing to add a ton more NVH. This is still a daily for me and the streets of NY suck ass but I did want to increase feedback when I'm driving hard on the track from time to time.

I forgot to mention the X3/4M sway bars made a huge improvement along side with the front thrust arms. Going down the road felt good, kept the wheels more planted and tracked well over the crown on some roads and didn't wonder around. Under hard acceleration going around a turn, it improved/lessen some of the torque steer and felt more balanced. Going over 100+ also felt more stable, didn't get floaty and felt more confident -less steering input needed. Overall the ride didn't get more harsh going over bumps or potholes, having the larger sway bars is a plus IMHO.

It isn't hard and you should be able to do it in an hour. Hard to pin point the upgrade as I also paid to have other stuff installed as per Rottweiler but to lessen the deflection by removing the rubber bushing will always yield better performance. Remember when installing the arm to make sure you have it level with the rest of the suspension as if it were on the ground when you tighten the bolt so you don't bind the bushing and cause it to wear prematurely. I just put my jack under the steering knuckle and jack up the suspension until it barely unweights the jack stand under the pad. Then I know the suspension is at ride height and I tighten the bolt.

Done about 1k miles since the meyle HDs went on. I'd definitely agree with the Internet consensus that they are a good middle of the road option. Steering feel is a touch heavier than stock, response is a bit quicker and road feedback is a bit more. There is definitely more NVH - you notice it just cruising on the highway. Just a bit more noise from expansion joints, and touch less of that 'floaty smoothness' you would get in comfort mode.
As someone who wants a car with two modes - comfortable luxury family cruiser in comfort and something that makes me think I have a sports car in sport plus - the Meyle HDs seem perfect and ball joints might have been too much (but I don't know since I didn't try them!)
