'24 X3 M40i discount off MSRP?
I'm looking to order one and wondering what everyone is getting off MSRP? Also, if anyone can recommend a great dealer who gives big discounts in NY / NJ / CT area, please let me know.
When I purchased my '21 X5, I got 10% off MSRP. Hoping I can still do that on a new X3. Thanks! |

I ordered an M40i using NYCLIFE on LeaseHackr and got 4.25% off MSRP pre-BMW discounts (lease cash and loyalty)
My Mom used the same broker in May and got 8.25% off MSRP for a 30i pre-BMW discount (loyalty) $600 broker fee but the discount and no haggle experience was well worth it

I'm sure you've seen this lucky guy who got 6% off MSRP for a custom order M40i in Austin (nice build, too) in a nearby thread. I think discounts are pretty regional, so I'm not sure what's up in the NYC area. Information re: discounts is hard to come by outside of this forum, I found. If you're leasing you could look at https://leasehackr.com/ and even if not you could use it to understand regional differences and maybe engage in some geographic arbitrage.

I’m sure things work very differently in the US but here in the UK things seem to be a little easier to hunt out discounts. I quick search on a site called CarWow you can get 10.1% off! Things seem to be so different over there!

I wish we had carwow here, they seem great. But even after a 10.1% discount in the UK, your cars would be more expensive than US MSRP. I dunno why we get 'em so much cheaper. I like the option availability in the UK better for sure though (sport seats, laser lights, etc.).

Selling Price: $71,890 Discount: $6,500 Rebate $1,000 Adjusted Price: $64,390 Which ladies and gentlemen, if my math is correct, (64390 / 71890) - 100%, that comes out to a grand total of 10.433% off, lol. $152 doc fee, $4105 tax, and $324 registration fees on top of that. Cannot recommend leasehackr enough, I paid the guy $600 and saved over $6000. |

I did do a trade in but that was after discount was negotiated and I got a good deal on the trade in too (although that’s more subjective then “discount off MSRP”). And I bought this car, not leased.

In other words, your effective discount was really 64990 / 71890 => 9% Still a great discount! Last edited by Kharma99; 08-31-2023 at 05:32 PM.. |

Great discount, for sure. Maybe take the $1,000 rebate out of the equation since you could theoretically get that without any negotiation. Still good at 8.2%.

Is the $1000 rebate for financing through BMW available every month? I have an order but haven't finalized numbers yet. The current $1000 rebate says it "expires on 9/04", but wondering if there will be the same deal next month. I'm trying to get: - 10% off (talked to 3 dealerships that have said it's possible) - Finance rate of 5.99% (standard dealer markup of 1%), locked this in for the August rate - $1000 rebate for financing through BMW - $500 loyalty since I have a current BMW lease are my assumptions correct here? |
