Yeah, it's a long story that I'll type up later after I get it cleaned up with good pictures. Basically, wasn't able to access the rear strut/spring due to not being able to break loose one of the two bolts.

I've attached a teaser shot just for you The H&R springs have settled even a little more since, also a reason I'm being coy about posting pictures. Plus I caved around a bit on my adventures and my legs from mid-shin to above the knees are basically a big bruise. I took this right after said caving, having soaked my phone, so cell camera probably wasn't the cleanest and it was raining. But like I said, just a teaser!
Looks good, so far. How's the ride feel?

I had to drive down some one way road where they dug up the pavement, drove as slow as I can but the edge of one front rim got cut up. Plus finding touchup paint to match the brushed bronze was a pain. I found some body shop who made some touch up paint and its not perfect but at least it covers the aluminum.

I knew it would happened one day but I wished it lasted longer without get f'up up. LMAO saving grace wife got a new white Audi q8 and she doesn't know she is getting my wheels while I look for something else. But now having the new car I'm entering the rabbit hole to looking for stuff to upgrade. FYI the audi Q8 forum crowd isn't into upgrading that much, unless its an RSQ8...lol.

Still trying to feel the ride out. Anything I feel is a combination of switching to the Michelin PS4S tires and the springs. Day 1-2 felt realllll bumpy. However, after driving 1000+ miles on them through Day 5, the were feeling a bit softer than stock. I'll have to drive them around town a bit more. I wouldn't say they're worse?? lol

Did take a nail in the front driver's side tire at some point before I drove back. Gonna have to take it in this week to see if they can remove and patch safely, it's somewhat close to the sidewall. Damn Ozark roads are fun to zoom around, but some of the worst for debris.

I just received my set of FF10 wheels from Forged One Wheels, but I haven't installed them just yet. I'm going to them powder coated on a dark bronze. Here are the specs and weight of the wheels.

F: 20X9.5 28 offset 22.8lbs
R: 20X10.5 28 offset 23.6lbs

I plan on running a taller tire as well all around. The OEM tire size is 28.6"and I'll be running 30" tall tire all around d to help with preventing bends and absorb more impacts. I also like the meaty tire look. I'm already lowered so the taller tire will close up the gap a bit more. I'll be running 285/45/20 setup.

The photo with my reflection is the rear wheel from the most vertical angle I could get looking down from the rear fender. I looks like the rim is flush but the tire rim protection portion may stick out a bit.

Well, just ordered some satin black Momo Anzio wheels from Uro Tuning. 20x10, +25mm. I will eventually be running 275/40/20 all around, but I have a brand new set of 255/40/20 summers that were take offs from my wife's Q3 to burn through first.

According to MOMO customer support, they weigh in at ~26.5lb/ea in that spec.

Does anyone have aftermarket wheels on a Brooklyn Grey? I am going to powder coat the bi-color 699M's, but am looking into options other than Black - Gunmetal? Dark Bronze?🤔

Also, is there a wheel finish in between satin and gloss? IMO, Satin (matte) can look a bit too much like plastidip, and gloss can look TOO shiny, especially against the tire wall contrast.

I hear you on the 699M's. I have them on right now and would love to see what they look like in bronze if you go for it. I am planning on bronze at some point as well, not sure if it will be with the 699M or something else.

My last wheels (Avant Garde M580) were powder coated in a satin finish. It just took some serious diligence to keep them clean and always retain that "in between satin and gloss" semi-gloss look.

I'm thinking about a set of 19 (or 18)" bronze winter wheels on my BG X3. I would love a set of OZ Rally's in bronze but that means getting them powder coated on top of $500/corner. Not cheap for a winter beater setup...

These wheels are somewhat chameleon like, it's strange. Nemesis Autosport (the vender I ordered from) said that this is the "Brushed Black" according to BCF, which has some bronze mixed into it. The pictures I originally saw looked medium/dark grey. However, they seem to absorp and reflect their surrounding a bit. And you can definitely see a bit of the bronze in them at the right angles.

In dark surroundings, they just look like a shiny, dark grey. In artificial light, they look almost bright silver. In sunlight, they look quite a bit more bronze.

Anywho, will have some more pictures to post tomorrow, hopefully. Although I'm not sure I'll have a chance to get the car cleaned up beforehand.

Until then, enjoy!

Mine will be satin black on BG when they get here. Can't help with pics right now, though. Sorry.

Satin is the in between between matte and gloss.

Just installed BC Forged KL01 wheels in Brushed Dark Black on the wife’s Brooklyn Grey. The 699M wheels/tires/TPMS are for sale - less than 500 miles on them.

BC Forged wheel sizes:
22”x9.5” +16
22”x11” +35

Well, 3 of the 4 got delivered yesterday afternoon, surprisingly. That's literally less than 18 hrs after I ordered them. Uro drop-ships, so I assume the warehouse in IL where these wheels came from only had 3 in stock.

Now I wait for #4...
