I'm sorry to hear it's been a rough time. I hope once this all clears up there will be something good that comes your way.

Down here everyone who still has a job is an essential worker so my office is still open, for now.

Lots of closures in the hospitality and the retail space though.

I think we are going to have a full lock down very soon!

Be safe.

Considered essential, so still in the office every day. 82 degrees here in TN today and finally no rain, so I drove the M for a change. Weird doing 80 and 85 on the interstate when it normally would be bumper to bumper!

Working from home, as I have for 20 years. No visits to clients. My wife is also working from home now.

Both in healthcare, both could actually work extra if wanted. Spending less so aside from the stock crash we are ahead in savings and spent on some things around home including new ac.

Thanks. 20 years at the job and a two week knockout. I'm not that down but it does feel weird in this time of weirdness in general.

I'm a cosmetic dentist. The Governor of Florida shut down all dental offices until May 8th except for emergencies. I have diabetes, well controlled, yet I can't risk getting the Covid19. I had to furlough my entire staff.

I wish I could work from home....

My business is shut down, mandated by Governor, 'to conserve PPE.' Whatever. Now I have 8 employees who are income-less, as am I. And of course, I have fixed operating costs that continue to deplete my bank account.

I'm almost positive I will not be one of the lucky ones to be fortunate enough to take advantage of this CARES act.

Bullshit.

I'm part of field staff for a large insurer. I am considered a 'remote' employee (HQ is in Michigan, boss lives in KY).

As long as I don't have to interact with anyone, touch anything, or enter any structures it's business as usual for me. I can do the vast majority of my job from home, it's about an 80/20 WFH/out in field split for me right now.

Essential on the consulting side. Using my connections as well as operations and logistics knowledge for sourcing needed items. IgG and IgM test kits, PPE and a few other items.

Weather is supposed to be beautiful here today. We were planning to take the Vette to the mountains, but I'm working today.

I'm salaried....so no OT. But if my guys are having to work, I try to be here to show them I'm no better than they are.

They are the ones keeping the place together which in turn keeps products going out the door.

So I'm here to make sure they have anything they need.

That’s completely understandable, little stuff like that makes the workers probably appreciate you more. We have had 2-3weeks of nothing but rain so if the world is going crazy around us let’s at least have some sun! Lol

It definitely changes your mood! Makes things seem almost normal....or at least takes your mind off of things for a bit.

Everyone in my company is now working from home... luckily we have very strong cash flow as it is our year end and we just made some serious sales... also our industry was deemed essential... hopefully the cash flow from this month can keep us in a good spot for 2-3 months until this whole thing dies down...

Starting Monday I will be working from home 3 days a week. We are essential supply chain. Normally very few work from home. We had many more licenses than we use but not enough to have all those that could work from home do so. I chose to go in so that an employee could stay home instead. Now that we have enough licenses and increased our bandwidth, everyone who can work from home, will. There are certain things I can’t do from home, hence the 2 days in office.

We increased pay to truck drivers and forklift drivers as a thank you for the next few weeks as they obviously can’t work from home. I’ve actually had a few employees thanking me in tears that they have a job. It’s humbling.

Murfreesboro. 30 miles south of downtown Nashville. So far another pretty nice day today as well (weather wise)!
