Less negative camber in the right front... ?

Alright fellas, I'm trying to get to the bottom of this small matter. After getting a fresh new alignment we noticed my 2020 X3 MC with DINAN lowering springs has -1.5* of camber in the left front & only -1.2* in the right front. It's not a tremendously big deal I'm guessing it was designed that way on purpose to offset some of the crown in the road on many streets. Are all you guys experiencing this very same thing out there... ?

I guess this has already been covered. But only briefly. Just wanted to get a decent gauge in how many others are experiencing this same issue. Since I'm German I would like my X3 MC to be a little more precise & symmetrical.

This is very typical. You can get an alignment shop to correct it if you're that worried about it, but it usually requires some extra work and parts, or even shifting the subframe a bit. If it's within 1/2° it's nothing to be concerned with.

I doubt that a difference in camber between both sides is by design. There is always going to be some difference in camber unless you get a shop, or more importantly, pay a shop what it truly costs to dial in an alignment properly, and your suspension modifications haven't limited your range of adjustment too bad. I can't speak for CA, but over here unless you are paying $200-300+ for an alignment it's not going to be perfect.

Lowering a car is also going to decrease the camber adjustment range. Which is why you usually can't return your camber setting back to stock, unless you go further down the aftermarket route. Also, adjusting the camber will affect your toe and vise versa. Adjusting the front will affect the rear and vise versa. It's a vicious circle, and the shops that charge less than what I quoted don't take the time to try to get it perfect. Some techs even will get so frustrated that they'll just "bump" the sensors to get it in the green range and send you on your way.

Your toe settings are most important, as they will determine how the car tracks and how stable it is at high speed. Your camber having a difference between both side means your car will turn in better in one direction than the other. A .3* difference isn't enough to notice. But I am the same way, I would like it to be "perfect." Just isn't always in the cards.

I see what you guys are saying. But I have paid a high end shop good money to get the alignment as close as could be reached within the factory / oem strut mounts. Unfortunately the factory units are not adjustable. I like a touch of negative camber on high performance vehicles. We've noticed other X3 M's experiencing this very same issue. So I'm still trying to figure out how much of an isolated issue this really is or not. Most wouldn't care about -.3* of camber, but I do & trying to most efficiently offset this.

There's a small creak when I turn the steering wheel to just about complete lock in one direction, I think a full right. So maybe I need to look into this & investigate it further. Wish more people would chime in & provide feedback if there X3 M is this same way.

I just had an alignment done about a month ago at the dealer, needed new tires due to hitting something in the road so just had the alignment done as a matter of course. It's for 20" wheels since they're my winters, but I don't think that would change much going to the 21" summers. Attached the printout.

Thank you for your input here & I really appreciate your alignment sheet. This insight is what I was hoping to see & grow from. This shows that BMW didn't intentionally design / engineer less negative camber on the RIGHT side & purposely dial in more negative camber on the LEFT side. So I'll need to take my X3 MC to a much higher end "dedicated alignment shop" that really knows what they're doing & takes the time to actually get things as precise as can be. Not simply good enough like the current shop did.
