Yikes - what the *&**%$ is it about the iX3 wipers?

A lot of suppliers don't stock them and those that do are charging over £30

Ebay has a few sellers at £23 inc P&P. Ordered

Get the Bosch Icons. In my opinion they are more durable and have a stronger frame keeping the blade in better contact with the glass. The OEM blades are basically the Icons light.

Are you sure about the A393S? I just checked and it told me the A323S.

When I started this thread a year ago they were advertised in a lot of places, but nowhere had them in stock. It appears that these wiper blades are used only by the X3 and the Jaguar E-Pace. That is why they are difficult to find.

I just searched for the A323S, and they seem pretty readily available now.

The Bosch Icons aren't that readily available in the UK. Amazon have them, but they are about £30 each, as opposed to for a pair of them.

I truly don't understand why some of you are hell-bent on getting the exact ones that came on the vehicle. You're going to pay a mint for nothing. Bosch makes several very good brands of wipers, of which the icons are the best. Just get the measurement of each of your wipers and get the icons.

I actually got this set (x2, for 2 x M40i's new to us) that comes with all 3 blades for < $20 bucks ($2 coupon). I couldn't find anything quickly that didn't cost a fortune for friggin' wiper blades. They work great, I won't know longevity until they've aged

Edit: I get most stuff through FCP and use their lifetime warranty, but I actually feel kinda bad doing it with wiper blades for some reason... At least with Oil, I feel like there is something they can get out of that when returned.

I don't think anybody is "hell-bent on getting the exact ones". The thread was initially opened when there was a shortage of the Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades in the UK, and OEM blades were a crazy price that I was trying to avoid paying. Most of the discussion has been around alternatives to the OEM blades.

As mentioned in my post above, the Icons are not widely sold in the UK, and are more than double the price of the AeroTwin.

I used to get the Michelin Stealth Ultra for all my other cars because they were affordable yet sturdy, and I couldn't find anything readily available for this car that was a name brand I wanted. The Bosch blades I got before wore out way too quickly and felt cheap for how much they cost.

So I bought I just searched for the A283H (280mm instead of 300mm which is on the car) and A322S for fronts. They fit great.
Idk why is have become so complicated to find proper length and mount wipers on newer cars. It was much easier back then.

Had ICONs on my previous car. They are pretty good.

Just a PSA when it comes to changing wiper blades. Put a folded towel under the blade to protect the windshield in case the spring loaded blade snaps down and breaks it like it did on my son's M240i. Ouch!

Must be down to location. I just searched again an instantly found over 15 different vendors with them in stock, with prices ranging from £20 to £41.

That because most cars years ago had the same size front wiper blades and sold for much cheaper in sets . Not two different sizes .
