Coding SLI to X3 G01?

Hi all,

I'm going to code sli (speed limit information) display to my X3 G01 my. 2020 with digital instrument panel. I have few basic questions for this.

1) Should i code only sli (8TH) or should I code driving assistant (5AS) which is larger package and includes sli I assume? (I actually don't know is 5AS possible to coded to my car anyway. I don't even know what hardware is needed for 5AS).

2) Do the same FSC code work for those both or do 8TH and 5AS have different FSC codes?

3) Can I code these with e-sys only without launcher? I mean can I code those with VO coding method only?

4) Where to buy official FSC codes I need for coding these?

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure you will get the information you need here, you may be better trying one of the coding forums. I had SLI coded on my 2020 M40i and it works perfectly, but I paid someone to do it as I wasn't confident enough to do it myself. In the UK, you can get it done remotely for around £220 including the FSC code

Hi, Just picked up an M40i myself and wanted the SLI coded in. I am also located in Bristol. Any chance you could point me in the direction of who coded yours & what kit did you use to get it done remotely? Thanks

I have replied to your message. I had mine done with a home visit which was £70 extra as I didn't want to mess around getting a laptop hooked up to my car and risk the wifi or the bluetooth dropping out. You will need a laptop and some means of connecting it to your car for the remote option. If you have a good wifi signal near your car that can work, or if you can connect your laptop to your router with a cable, even better. I have a bluetooth dongle you could borrow if you are local, I also have a LAN cable to ODB connector
