Good advice above about taking pic to show to any potential new buyer, as the damage is relatively minor and should not sway future potential buyers to shy away....if the work is done professionally. To OP, contact your insurance agent about proceeding with diminished value claim as every state is different and that's one of the reasons why you are paying your insurance premiums. Get them to work for you.
