Hi,

I have basic side mirrors in my X3 G01 2020 with heating elements only. So at least folding mechanism, dimming, reverse dip and side collision warning are missing. Interior mirror has dimming function.

My question is which of those are easy or quite easy retrofittable?

In my opinion, it is easy to replace the mirrors and button panels, but quite difficult to replace the door wiring harnesses if they need to be replaced. What about programming of those? Is it easy to succeed? What specific parts would be needed? How to check if harnesses are needed? Specific connectors or pins? Are all X3 G01 side mirrors interchangeable by year?

Sorry for many long questions but I bet someone here has retrofitted and updated mirrors to more sophisticated side mirrors.
