If you look at the second post - the M Sport version - there is the live cockpit, so yes, you can order it

It's included in the optional Premium Package on the X3 and standard on the X4.

They are new to us

I have never liked that wheel pattern, no matter what size or which BMW model they might be on.

I think that every indication is that it does not. See the recent posts here.

Looking at the future models thread... ynguldyn is indicating that the new models coming off the line do have the upgraded B58

Either was this is a massively botched communication plan

All of the speculation is that same and it's all logical. The problem is that every single thing out of BMWNA consistently contradicts the speculation. So I don't understand why we're all thinking that all of our best guesses are right and that BMW - you know, the guys who are actually building the cars - is wrong. I'll say the same thing here that I've been saying in the other threads . . . I really, really hope I'm wrong.

There isn't a single documentation that I can find stating the HP Bump.

That is mind boggling - why would BMW hide it? or not talk about it?
Do they really need to move so many 2019 M40s off the lots?

They did the same with M550. For the longest time they denied the Engine upgrade for 2020.

Does anyone know the charging output of the USB-C ports are and if they support PD? Would be awesome if they can quick charge phones and charge a macbook.

Also I'm assuming the X3/4M would need to wait for 2021 to get this?

I'll hook one of these up to it later in the week when I have some time to go by the dealer.

All Type-Cs in the 2020 X4s as all BMWs are moving towards all USB-Cs moving forward.
2020 M340i still have usb A near cupholder

I'm quite surprised x3/x4 come with metal window switches while my 2019 X5 has plastic ones...

Once we get a website update to 2020 or a window sticker for 2020 M40i that should seal the deal one way or another.

still can't believe they rolled out the X3M/X4M with the ID6 1 month before the standard X3/X4 got ID7, someone should be fired for that

I get it if no X3/X4 were getting it until 2020 calendar year, but here it is...

For me I don't really care about the "live cockpit" vs old digital dash, its more about the tech that ID7 allows, like the drive camera (so don't need a dashcam anymore, thats big) and the remote start (another big thing in winter for me).

Just knowing the car SHOULD have those options and doesn't makes me not want to drop $80K on it. Based on the amount of these the local dealers have I am guessing others are waiting as well, typical X3 buyer might be clueless but I would think a X3M buyer has a little more knowledge and will do a little more research before buying a $80K vehicle.
