Which is weird because Motortrend got way worse times 3.5 and higher. Best I ran in my Trackhawk is 3.2 with the all season tires, so it sounds like all these SUVs can run somewhere in the range of 3.2 - 3.8

I like that the X3 is giving the Macan a run for its money this time around

Can't imagine why anyone in their right mind would buy one of these rather than an M3 or M4?! An M version of an SUV is a contradiction in terms as far as I'm concerned. And no, I'm not a troll. I'm been driving BMW's on and off for twenty five years, and love 'em . It's a shame that BMW has to sully the M brand by making these models

I doubt anybody who doesn’t get these M SUVs has actually driven one hard. The comment about the X5M being a favorite at the Performance Driving Center is no joke, every single person there the last timeI went fell in love with the X5M’s performance and handling around the Thermal course. It’s on a completely different planet compared to a non-M X5 just like there is absolutely no comparison between the handling of a 3 series and an M3 when you push to the limits. |

Thanks for posting and the x3m looks the goods!
In Aus we don't get the x5 50i until mid next year, going to wait for that unless this comes first... From FJ Cruiser to x4m would be an interesting transition |

Both cars are driven triple digits, M4 has hit 165mph and X5M 150 mph. M4 had the top speed deleted during the tune (driven directly from the Welt with less than 50 miles), but haven't found a decent road yet to push 180 mph.
