I would imagine its just clips holding them in. Give it a good push and see if that helps.

I think this is what I would do. If pushing them back in doesn't generate a "clicking sound", I'd try to take it off and seeing if the clip is broken. Otherwise, glue it up.

If they are glued, and need more:
* Be sure they are clean where you will put the glue, maybe use acetone or brake parts cleaner (xylene or toluene) * Scuff them up some (also only where you will put the glue of course) * Some sort of 2-part epoxy from a hardware store should work well, bonus if it mentions metal and plastic in the usage list * Careful putting too much and having it squish out into places you don't want it * Think of some small amount fo weight you can sit on them to help hold them while they dry - depending on the epoxy this could be in just 5-10 minutes for a bond to form * Don't touch them for 24 hours until they are definitely cured. Hopefully they clip. But if not... |
