Hey All! I was using the Bimmercode app to code in the M Version Cluster in the Digital Gauge Cluster on my X3M40i.
But, for some reason everything works perfectly except the placement of my Current Location in the middle bottom of the screen. For some reason it looks unaligned, maybe it's for a different car??
I haven't seen anyone else with this issue, maybe just me:Thanks!

Do you mean the arrow indication the position of your car? How do you mean misaligned? As in it is not on the road?

I think he's talking about the name of the street that shows below the arrow.

Ah yes, did not notice that. Does appear off center.

Noo the pointer arrow is completely fine, it's just off center cause i'm parked in my garage. My issue is mainly with the Text on the bottom that indicates my current location!

Just try going back on each of the things you changed in BimmerCode. Likely something when a bit off during coding so you'll either have to restore all back to default or work your way back to see which item you coded was the thing to cause it.

Did you lose rev indicator in HUD as it happens in M340i for example? I coded M cluster in a friend's X4 M40i but he doesn't have HUD so I could not check that.

By the way... Street name appears in center. I coded as well model name to X4M and new Sport Indicators.

Thats the first thing I also thought of as well! I reverted to a backup of the ECU from before the first time I coded the Vehicle. But weirdly the Alpina Cluster or the Regular BMW Cluster don't have this issue, just the M :/

OK, thx for the answer. In that case it's worthy coding as well M HUD as it has a nicer and larger rev indicator.

I will do it in my incoming X4 M40i when I have it in some weeks.

Well, I finally picked up my car last friday and oh surprise, I have the same issue as you

General info is ok, in center, but roads or street names are not.

I wasn't able to code M HUD as well, I tried following instructions found in this forum but with no success.

Each to their own ...... but I'm so glad my 2020 X3 doesn't have the all digital instrument panel. I took a few longer test drives with that panel and it drove me nuts. Sorry you're having issues.

Hi mate!
Could you tell me how did you change the cluster to the X4M?
I have a X4M40i and would like more km/h as I have a stage 2 on it..

Cheers ✌🏼

Hi! Now is possible with Bimmercode in standard mode, no need to go on expert. You can also maintain original cluster but with speed limit up to 330 km/h, it is available as well in standard mode in Bimmercode.

If you go for the X4M cluster, I suggest to go on expert mode and select engine to the S63, then you will have an accurate revs limit with red and yellow color, as the X4M with B58 engine selected has no limiter, and S58 goes too high.

Some time ago you had to go into expert mode, now is available in standard mode, inside cluster module in the APP. You have several options, one of them is M cluster. If you want to have rev limiter indicator, then you have to go into expert mode and select S63 engine which is the most similar to ours in terms of revs. You have the info in this thread.

Hi Mate,
I had to go to bmw dealer and they did a reset of the car. And now even if I change though BimmerCode, I can’t move the km/h to 330 anymore.
In the picture attached, that’s what I should see in expert mode, but the one with a red X, don’t show up…
Any idea?
