I hope this will not be the direction the industry takes. I understand reasoning for charging for extra car connectivity options, but having hardware present in the car and charge extra to enable it doesn't sound right...

i can't imagine new threads like "Jailbreak my folding mirrors" or "Do I need to pay for my folding seats?"...

Pay per mph over 60, lmfao. Want to go over 90 pay $1.00 per second, over 100 pay $2.00 , over 120 pay $5.00.... etc....no need for speeding tickets. Rev share with jurisdiction one drives in. No more speed limit needed. Tied into bank accounts or credit cards. 90 day grace to pay overdue, don't pay, car impounded. Don't pay after 180 days, license suspended.
