2019 M3CS vs. 2020 X3MC first hand (acceleration)

So we all know our X3M's are fast, but this afternoon I was given an opportunity to test her... now keep in mind I'm PRE-RIS, so I did NOT redline, but did push her to the "limit" under the circumstances. Came up to the light and next to me is a gorgeous blue 2019 M3CS. Wasn't sure if he was gonna hit it off the line... we get the green and I go 50% throttle the first 10-20 ft., he initially crawled then hit it WOT, I pursued! Now BMW says this M3 will do 0-60 in 3.7 (and we know BMW underestimates its performance numbers). To 60 he had a car length on me (again, I hit the paddle well before redline and he had a 1/4 sec. jump on the full throttle), but that was just the first half of, let's call it, our meet and greet. The next couple of seconds we were a dead heat, then the X3MC definitely had a slight advantage, and pulled in the M3. At the 1/4 mile, the SUV would have been a nose ahead! Hoping for my RIS within 10 days, then really looking forward to seeing what she can do! (I don't think the driver of the M3 CS was happy to see this SUV passing!!)

*There were no others cars around us (well, BEHIND us, yes), and of course, this was all hypothetical, because I/we do not exceed the posted speed limits!! Drive carefully, my friends!

The M3 and M4 are horrible from a complete stop in a 0-60 mph race with the standard pilot sport tires. My 2015 M4 will just spin the tires on any hard acceleration from a stop and hell even on hard accelerations above 50 mph. I am looking forward to adding an X3MC or and X5M to my garage so I can put all that power down without chirping the tires constantly.
