It all depends on how many and which stops are made on the way. My dealer advised they work on 13 weeks from production to delivery to the UK, but I think it's 8-9 weeks at sea.

Capricornus Leader is due into Bristol on 27th June. Sagittarius Leader and Virgo Leader are also due there before going to Southampton 9-10 later via Bremerhaven. If that pattern is followed, Capricornus Leader should arrive into Southampton w/c 4th July.

The status of mine still hasn’t changed from 165. But I keep being assured by the genius team that it’s on its way!

That’s surprising, mine changed to 193 yesterday morning and 195 by the evening. Find out from them how long yours has been at 165. When is your delivery date scheduled for?

It’s been at 165 since 11th of May. And it’s due to be delivered 18th July.

Atleast I’m not on my own. Hahaa.

I was just reading through the uk delivery thread, and someone on there said theirs stayed at 165 till it reached Bremerhaven.

@Mjones1707 I’m surprised by this, mine was 165 from 9th May so only a couple of days before you. Give it another day or two and if your status is still 165 then it’s likely your car will be on the next ship.

@Mjones1707 and @kebl2555 My delivery date has slipped over the last week from 11th July to 18th July to 25th July so yours should start slipping too if your car is still at 165 over the next few days.

It’s very frustrating, especially if like me, you’ve sold you old car in readiness for taking delivery of your new iX3! In any case, I’m convinced it’ll be well worth the rather long wait.

I’m losing faith if I’m honest. When I place my order I was told it’d be here end of April/ beginning of may. Then it went to June. Then End of June. Now mid July. I’ll be very annoyed if it goes beyond July.
I’m just baffled as to how they can’t tell me if my car is on a boat or not. Well, they actually are telling me it is when I speak to them in person. But the status code says different. I’m very confused.

You're definitely not alone . Mine was built on 05-May, and has been on status 165 since 10-May. Calling the "geniuses" a couple of times gave me little more info (half of them even telling me that the car was on its way from the USA 🙄 ) , the last one saying it was probably not in a ship yet; not that I would give this any more credance than other info...

She did say it sometimes takes a few days for status codes to be updated though. Fingers crossed that our cars have actually made it to the Capricornus Leader, and that the status codes will be updated in a few days 🤞

Sounds like we’ve had some very similar conversations with them 🤣
The last person I spoke to was very adamant that it was almost in Bremerhaven, at which point I’d given up trying to tell him it wasn’t possible. So I just said okay 🤦*♀️

Just checked in with online genius and mine is still code 165 and as other have reported 'in transit from USA to Bremerhaven' utter rubbish. As others have said hopefully code will update soon 🙏 and it's on the CAPRICORNUS LEADER 🤞

Build date was down as 12/03 but that was somewhere near the factory Covid lockdown so I am not sure how accurate that turned out to be. In any case, it was reported as having left the factory on 21/04.
I have a carrier load number, so I know where it is on the ship (at least I think that is what it means) but I don't know what ship it is on.
Anyway, the car exists and appears to be en route.
Incidentally, Genius definitely said it is coming in to Southampton, and not Bristol.

Given the dates, it could be on the Asteria Leader which departed Dalian in the first few days of May.

Just had confirmation that mine is still at the port in Dalian. So looks like I’m back to the drawing board trying to figure out which boat might be next there.
It hasn’t had an update since the 11/5, so is still saying expected delivery 18/7 which I’m expecting is going to be delayed.
So disappointed.
