Well spotted! I’ve been tracking a few ships but hardly ever read the blurb at the top with the description. It looks like this is the one!

I still can’t figure out when it might go to Southampton? It goes to Bristol, but do they offload the cars there?

I read on one of the forum posts (might have been Facebook) where someone’s car was offloaded at Bristol and then taken by road on a truck to Southampton where they do the PDI checks

Oohhh that’s exciting. If that’s the case our cars might come a smidge early. Or atleast on time. It’s due into Bristol on the 27th June.

You can sometimes find the schedules on the NYK RoRo website under the schedules section. I can’t seem to find the capricornus leader on there though, but just googled it, and Bristol port schedule shows it estimated to arrive on the 27th June.
It’s a lot of trial and error unfortunately. 😫🤦*♀️

Can you add your car to the BMW app once you have a chassis number, even if it has not been delivered yet?

Nope, I tried to do exactly that. It sends a code to the iDrive screen which you need so you can pair it all up.

You can add it to the BMW Drive app with just your VIN, but not the My BMW app.
So, at least you can get access to the online manual.

In other news, Capriconus Leader docked at Dalian last night.
Let's hope our order statuses change soon!

Well I am beyond confused.
I just spoke to the BMW customer services to find out if there was any update on the order status of my car (hoping it’s maybe changed if it been loaded on the ship) and they’ve told me that it’s still 165, but showing as on route from USA to Bremerhaven.
Has anyone else had this? Is there any reason it would go to USA? I’m baffled.

I've been told this a number of times. I spoke to my dealer and was told its a generic description on their system and nothing to worry about. It's more the status code you need. Mine has been 165 for over a week, changed to 190 this morning but is now 165 again. I'll check again this evening but hoping my car is on the Capricornus Leader before it leaves Dalian.

Ah. Brill. Thanks for the quick response. I was really confused. It doesn’t make sense why they’d take the ix3’s to the USA and then to Germany.

Same, I wonder if it takes a day or two to update?

If we've missed out on this ship then Phoenix Leader should be the next one into Dalian in around 7-10 days.

Hello,

Brilliant call Magwhy, with the ship Capricornus Leader at Dalian. I had seen and keeping an eye on Anteres Leader and Pheonix Leader along the area of Japan and South Korea, but completely missed Capricornus Leader.

Those still stuck at 165 - it might be worth checking your status again, mine is now 193 (Arrival at port) although that still doesn't mean it's on a ship.
