Ordered one last week, fortunately its an already built premiere Pro that's already in the dealer network, so just have to wait for it to come to my dealer. However to get it for me they have had to 'bribe' the other dealer to swap it by offering to swap it with an M4 that my dealer has in stock. Pretty lucky really as being quoted march next year if have a build put in.

Haha, I was already afraid I would be the only one doing that...
Tracked Atlas Leader and Rhea Leader (don't know for sure whether they visited Dalian as I 'caught' them a bit late) that are quite likely to have transported my car. Dionysos Leader is the likely 'last option' for my car to be on. That has just arrived in Italy with about a week to go to Bremerhaven.

Those long waits with the long distance shipping are trying, right?

Its definitely a form of torture, that's for sure. Mine was a late July build so it's on either Dionysus Leader (in Italy), Grand Duke (In east Med Sea) or Harmony Leader (just left Suez). Best case, mine is two weeks away from the UK Port or worst case 5 weeks

... then the car gets to the UK and there are no HGV drivers available to pick it up.

I am also watching a few boats now. If anything it stops me refreshing this forum all the time nice bit of variety

Dealer has sorted something out for me, on an order that was meant to be heading elsewhere (cancelled/BMW Main office Car perhaps). Due November now. Better than next year, and it's a Premier Pro, which is better as prefer to the M Sport exterior design.

Seems the boats have left the UK now, wonder whats happening now, if I search my VIN it doesn't decode at the moment, so assuming it's not been entered into the system yet at BMW HQ end.

I ordered my BMW iX3 Premiere Edition from John Clark motors in Scotland and so far there’s no news from dealer when I’ll receive the car. A hint was that it won’t be until October before the cars will be available in the UK. Anyone here ordered from them or any dealer in Scotland with updates on UK deliveries.

Ask dealer for your VIN should be able to dig a little info then.

https://www.mdecoder.com/decode/ will give you the build information for example. Think next batch of cars is due November (like mine)

I'm in Scotland and got mine a week ago but ordered in April through Lex Leasing and delivered from Eastern.

I ordered mine on July 17th from John Clark motors. The sales person informed me the car will be with me in October after accepting my reservation fee. I suppose I’ll keep my fingers crossed. I have PODPOINT installing my home EV charging point this Wednesday. Keeping hope alive!

Yes, I suspect it’ll be either late October or much later in the year before mine arrives. In the meantime, I have PODPOINT installing my EC home charging point this Wednesday.

Cool, mine is being installed November time, Western Power having to come out and change the fuse that's from the 60's, a d can't do that before 9th November.

I think I’m growing impatient by the day and seem to have arranged my PODPOINT installation way too early. Just spoke to my dealer on the phone and no VIN yet associated with my order. This leaves me with a bad feeling about the whole thing.

Oh dear, surely they should have the VIN by now, especially if its on a boat, or in Europe already. Odd, my dealer gave it me straight off without even thinking about it. Chase it, after all your paying them a decent lump of money, they should try bend over backwards for you.

Well that's not what the dealer says, from the BMW Genius team

"Thanks for getting in touch with the BMW Online Genius team and congratulations on the order of the iX3!

Your iX3 has been fully produced and has departed plant Shenyang. It’s expected to arrive in the first week of December.

Please get back in touch again if you have more questions."

So not November then.....

That’s more like it - in fact, I’d even say that a more realistic expectation is that the vehicles will be with us in January next year.

Better be here before that, else I'll be re-negotiating my finance etc as my car may be worth a little more (bizarrely) by then looking at the used market

I'll keep nagging my dealer, after all I doubt much they can actually do to rush things along, but at least they may get sick enough of me to push it up the PDI list
