Smile iX3 Premier Edition Pro

I have ordered a Premier Edition Pro in May and have been informed the vehicle is due to arrive in the UK end of October.

I was only able to select the exterior colour and nothing else. The UK allocation for these cars are scheduled builds, so they simply try and match an order with the list of cars arriving in the UK.

My vehicle will be Metallic Mineral White with Black Leather. I did notice the blue detailing has been deleted from the specification, so its Frozen grey exterior highlights. In addition, the interior trim is Aluminium fine cutting interior trim with pearl chrome highlight trim finishers.

I would have preferred the standard blue exterior highlights, just to have the ‘electric vehicle’ look.

Delivery delays

I ordered in March and was told August, then September, then mid October at the beginning of June and today I’ve been told the end of October. I suspect It will be November judging by other people’s experiences. A little disappointing.

UK order

I order my iX3 beginning of March 2021 and have been told to expect delivery to garage 15/01/2022 with hand over to me from 22/01/2022. Disappointed it’s going to take this long as no indication given when ordered. Was just told release date was July.

I was also not able to pick which colour or interior I wanted. Wanted carbon black with the cognac interior and the external blue trim. Was told I could only order a car if I agreed on carbon black (only colour option) black interior and grey external trim. Dealer said BMW not taking none stock orders till 2022 with delivery around mid 2022 for these.

Wonder if this has anything to do with the upgrade of the X3 being released and delivery of the new models coming October 2021.

that's a long wait Adamsk. I ordered it at the end of February and the car is now on transport.

I think it will go around the world a few times because the dealer expects it in the 1st week of September.

It does seem like a long wait Adamsk,

Ordered mine middle of April, had an update Monday confirming no change to expected stock date which is first week of October.

Just received notification from dealer that the car is now due first week of November into stock. Better than January but still longer than some people on here.

BMW iX3

Hi I ordered my iX3 at the beginning of May and was told that it would be coming in late September/early October. I did not get the choice of the colour both exterior and interior and had to take what was offered. Dealer said if I wanted specific options he would take the order and it would arrive Spring 2022. I would have liked the carbon black with cognac leather seats. As it happened I got the carbon black but the seats were black so not too bad. On the outside I got the grey trim instead of the blue which I prefer.

I ordered late May and had notification it was being built earlier this month and this week that it’s now on its way to the UK.

Think it could be on this ship https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...:ZENITH_LEADER

I’ve been advised it should be October delivery

August 2021 Updates?

Has anyone here had updates on iX3 deliveries?

I have noticed some UK spec cars arriving in to the UK... These are both Premier Editions (not the Pro, you can tell as they both have no lumbar support on the side of the seats)

Recently ordered through the company car list. Wanted Carbon Black but was advised that none were available. Only cars were Grey, White or Blue all with Black Leather with contrast Grey stitching. Does this mean all the Black pre-build slots have been sold!?

My order for a 'Premier Edition Pro' (Mineral White Metallic, Black Leather) has been pushed back from 30/10/2021 to 19/11/2021. And this is only for the 'Estimated Stock Date'.
This was ordered through a company car scheme using 'Lex Autolease' around May time.

Have been told by our supplying dealer that the Premier Pro we ordered a couple of weeks ago (via company lease) is due late November.

As others have said, there was no choice of seat colour (must be black), internal trim (must be aluminium), or external trim (blue bits deleted). Went for carbon black.

Wow! Looks really nice. I think it would look even better if it had the Cognac interior. I would have had that if I had been given the choice. Makes you wonder though here is a car that costs £60k and you have to take what you're given and if want a different spec you have wait another year! Lol.

Why is it taking so long? I don't understand. Most models are coming through now into the UK. You should ask them why your order is taking so long

Still being quoted as 1 September as stock date but this is company lease, not dealer so harder to get a transparent answer. I asked the local dealer direct if they knew since they were trying to sell me one and got blanked.

Edit. I'm sure I'll get it soon enough! Just impatient to get a date as my diesel X3 is needing a lot of work soon!

Mine is NHS lease but have contact details of BMW dealer that ordered the car. No idea why mine is taking so long, I’m just as impatient as well.

Hi Everyone.

I ordered a Black Premier Edition Pro in Mid May which is due to delivery October/November (hopefully) via Dick Lovett dealership in the UK.

I have received an update from them today that the vehicle has now been released from the factory (not sure what that means). Does anyone know roughly how long the vehicles are taking from this point until they reach the UK? Is there anyway I can track it?

I'm being really impatient as really looking forward to receiving the car

I seem to remember that I were told that transport alone would last as much as 75 days (to Denmark) so that would make October/November about right.

Thanks RoosDK, the wait is going to be painful I spoke to a BMW genius earlier today and their system is showing delivery for w/c 15th November now

It will arrive when it arrives I suppose
