At Lake Travis, near Austin, Texas... the very low-water Lake Travis.

Anyhow, in bright sunlight, São Paulo Yellow is, well very much yellow.

In anything lower than 95% direct light, it has a greenish tint. You can see the optics hitting your rods and cones if you look at the rear quarter panel at the back bumper. Just create a circle with your fingers and look only through the hole so you cannot see the rest of the X3M -- that's green.

Twice today, in heavy traffic, people waved me "in" ahead of them.

It's because they say, "OMG, that's burning my eyes! Get away, get away!" haha.

Happy to hear that you're liking the DINAN springs. Wrote to H&R & they wouldn't give me the exact specs on increase in spring stiffness. But DINAN clearly states 20% stiffer then stock. Did you rear springs come with those necessary jackets on the outer rings (like the H&R units have) & did you buy the DINAN bump stops with yours... ?

Yes mine came with the jackets (no squeaking/noise from rear or front) and I also bought the bump stops, all works fine and I have no complaints.
I had H&R in past cars and one challenge I encountered has been (with some) that the cars could bottom out as the H&R springs hit the factory bump stops sooner than the OEM (shorter springs). Granted this has been like 6-8 years ago on E39/E90/E53/E70 models.

I greatly appreciate you input here. I order the DINAN monoballs & they arrived in 2-3 days. I also ordered the performance bump stop kit from them too. BUT... it's been 5-6 weeks now. With no ETA or even estimate. So it's been very frustrating to work with them.

Kinda wondering if I were to order a set of DINAN springs maybe the corresponding "performance bump stop kit" would be easier to pull off the shelf. They've said sorry numerous times via email. But I don't have time for their crap any longer.

I have brand new set of OEM F97 bump stops & top boots. So may I just need to make my own. Essentially trimming 1" of the bottom of the bump stops. It can't be that hard to make these & surely these are no proprietary in house DINAN design.

Right... ?
