I would suggest you start with the respective tuners' websites.

I'd wager most people who flash their X3s don't bother getting dyno pulls done before/after and the best testing you're liable to see are Dragy numbers which can be..... variable.

Good luck.

Go to your stage 2 tune now and go to the config options. Check second to the bottom for "Throttle Response (Sensitivity)"

Pretty sure you can do this now!
I went into my stage 1 and 2 maps yesterday and under config option I now have the ability to adjust the throttle response like you said. Have you experimented with any of the settings? I'd like to get my stage 2 as close to the stage 1 tune they did for us as far as throttle response goes.

No I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. I did email PTF freaks and ask what settings would make it like the Test2 tune, but they haven't gotten abck to me yet.

If anyone here figures it out let the group know!

In which driving mode? Sport+ only right?

Eco throttle response is, well, meh...

I prefer the throttle response as it is non-linear, but then again i drive with Sport button engaged all the time on my older cars, so yeah, i'm spoiled.

Had a minute to play around with the new throttle reduction setting today. Also PTF got back to me.

PTF said that the following settings are about equivalent to the 'test2' tune that we got from them:
Around -30% on sport plus
-20% on sport
-10% on comfort / ECO

I tested -20% across the board and -40% across the board. I found that -40% slightly overshot the test2 tune in the reduction in response. So yeah in the 30% area is a good starting point if you had/have the test2 tune and liked it.

From the phone (ios or android) whether using enet or wifi method (eg. PTF obd agent, wifi adapter from mhd or kies or DIY made), what sort of times are people seeing for the full write? 10's of minutes? Or just under 2 to 3 minutes?

And once BM3 is on the car, is the map switching just under few 10's of seconds?

Is enet with BM3 app on the phone, really that slow?

My full map was done via laptop so I can't comment on that. Remapping via my iPhone with enet adaptor takes about 1 min or so. Super quick.

I've got android and I use enet with a usb-c to Ethernet adapter. Initial flash was a few minutes, but I'm going off memory here. Each map change is then about 15 seconds, assuming you already have the map downloaded. That 15 seconds is like 11 seconds of initializing control units, high power mode, clean up, etc. The actual flash is about 4 seconds.

Same here on my iPhone with eNet and eNet-Lighting adapter. about 15 - 30 seconds to swap maps. about 3 minutes to go to stock and lock DME.

The latest tune is great! I would disagree on the percentages though. Feels more like -17% on Sport+. I cant comment on the others since I really only drive Sport Individual. Great Job to Bootmod3

Stage 1 is as simple as flashing the tune.

No, just make sure you are only filling your tank with the European equivalent of USA 93 octane, or better.

Thanks both, yes I used shell v power 99. I have now gone ahead with stage 1, really makes a difference. Really happy with it!

Does it matter if you flash ecu tune first or xhp trans tune first ? I assume xhp then bm3/MHD so you can check the appropriate box when flashing ecu for the trans tune ..?

I don't know if that order is absolutely required but i did that order with xhp first then mhd map write with updated flash option for its tranny tune selection. Seems logical to me that order, for one time setup with between mhd and xhp.

Thatís what I plan to do when I get my DP. How do you like the xhp and MHD setup ? Iím debating MHD or BM3. Leaning towards MHD.

I have all 3 OTS platforms, but i keep coming back to MHD, mainly because their UI and executions with options are, to me, more streamlined and polished.

But, you cannot go wrong with any of the players, MG, BM3 and MHD.

Right now (at the moment), i've got a big grin on my face with "catless" AA DP, MHD+ stage 2 93octane/E30 maps and xHP stage 2. I'm sticking with this for little while until i can get back on my dyno schedule, and (got to) finish some trim related back burners.
