2016 x3 35i - need help with error msg

my son just picked up a used 2016 X3 and in driving home got two messages.

"Flat Tire Monitor (FTM) Inactive" and "Chassis stabilization: Drive moderately"

Is this likely due to a problem sensor? Any other thoughts to help him out?

They are likely related. Because the FTM is inactive its not giving the car a good reading causing the car to think theres a Chassis Stabilization fault. Likely a sensor is dirty, faulty or unplugged. I'd take it to a dealer, should still be covered under warranty if its a 2016.
