My New Baby

I picked up my baby yesterday from Paul Miller BMW in NJ. If you want excellent service and no-nonsense purchase experience, seek out Leo Santos.

Anyway, the car is amazing; I traded in my beloved M340ix. I got sick and tired of waiting for the M3 but the X4M is a pleasant compromise. The power and the driving dynamics of the car surpass the experience I had with my M340ix. Obviously, it does feel heavier but very planted on hard turns. I cannot be any happier in getting this car.

Curious, how is NVH compared to the m340? Wind noise, tire roar etc.

The wind noise is minimal but the tire nose is slightly louder since it has 21 wheels. Nevertheless, it's not much more. Since I live in NYC, I have no choice in getting high-performance all-season tires. I will probably get the Michelins.

I am not sure yet since I am still in my break-in period. As soon as I hit 1200 miles, it's game on. For the short pull I tried to 4k rpm, it felt much stronger than the M340ix.

With the LCI, we havent seen many black or white specs... but it's just something about the panda that looks so clean......
