X4 Refresh Qestion
My 2019 4 series lease is about to be up and I’m thinking of financing the next car and want to get something more practical for the family. I’m close to being settled on current X4 x30i, but I can’t find any information on its refresh cycle.
Since I’m financing I would like it to stay current for some time. If it’s getting a redesign for 2022 model year it wouldn’t be the best investment. Any information and thoughts would be much appreciated. |

With the caveat that everything is currently speculative, there's been a bit of chatter about the X3 LCI (many supposed photos, which some claim are photoshops but I don't really have the eye for).
Here's a thread from late last year when a could-be refreshed X3 and X4 were spotted out in the world: https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1745259 At least one person has said that an official reveal is imminent (like, within a week). I have no insight on this, but I'm on the lookout because I want an LCI X3 M40i. |

The X3 and X4 will definitely be refreshed for MY22.

The LCIs for sister models like these are usually released at the same time. I'm pretty certain you'll see both.

With the X3 and X4, BMW has actually brought the models closer together compared to the first gen. The first gen X3 and X4 also had a staggered intro, but again, the LCIs were introduced simultaneously and the X4's EOP matched the X3's. I think we'll see the same thing this time around.
