My Draggy 0-60 and 1/4 with race chip
Hey y'all!!
So this was my first and only run. I have a race chip and RgSport midpipe. Used launch control, stock tires. |

Insane numbers for a vehicle that can also do double duty for Kroger and Home Depot duties.

Thanks for sharing. The RaceChip has several maps with it. I am not very versed in it. But for those runs is that just a stage 1 regular pump octane Im guessing?

Since it's a piggyback and not a tune don't think there is a stage 2. Pump gas 91, map 7. Is what I used . I also went back and watched the video, I let off the gas too soon… I guess I assumed I had finished the 1/4…would of had a better time if I didn't let off the gas…

Why do people say "travel to mexico" when we all fully know you are not in Mexico?
Come on people... |

Why do people say come on people when we clearly are not expected to go anywhere?
Besides Mexico.

OP is you NGK20. OP= Original Poster aka person who created the thread. And he is saying you need valid runs. Because you got these times by going down a decline slope, therefore assisting in your faster times because you're traveling down a hill technically. Which means if you did the same exact run, at the same exact time of day on a level 1/4mile stretch your times would be a bit slower. To achieve a Valid dragy run which would compare to a race track thats not in Mexico you need to be on a level surface with a minimal negative slope. Then we will all be able to compare our dragy times Valid Vs Valid.

I would never run a time on a slope or downhill where I have the advantage… anyway I'll take some shots of where I did my time so you can see it's flat and as you reach fifth gear it slopes up..

The problem is verifiable validity. Slope wanders over 1% at a sanctioned Strip, same lane, within one hour of each run as I've documented [ https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showp...7&postcount=46 ]. DA also isn't accurate via Dragy (note the altitude differences between runs at my GNV thread). One could argue a few hundred ft DA is irrelevant, and they'd have a point. But as there is no way to corroborate location, fellow Enthusiasts can't look up past weather to confirm. And track surfaces will be across the board as roads are vastly different across the globe. At least at a sanctioned Strip one should 'ideally' be assured of a reasonably prepped and level surface. No one has any idea what surface Dragy posters are running on, right? So if the point is to share with a Community a relative standard value which others can use to compare their own runs, I still maintain that a sanctioned Strip is best to minimize the unknowns. |

Regardless, it's quick but if you want to share in the app or compare to other dragy runs, people expect to see valid runs. |

I'm going to track end of June, I still expect to hit mid 11's on a good launch..but probably not 11.3
It will be fun to compare. At the end of the day this is what it's really about right? Having fun |
