I did coded for the remote to close it. For the button inside (driver door), you have to pull it up and hold it until its fully close. If you release it before its close it stop right away.
Well I feel like an idiot, thanks for your help.

Anyway, piano black is the worst, right everyone?

Well today I went to Home Depot and parked away from all other cars. Came out of the store to find a shopping cart purposely placed up against my m40i’s front fender. Small scratch on the fender and still no other cars parked near me. Why are people so f-ing jealous when you buy a new luxury car that they have to scratch it on purpose. That’s what I hate about buying a BMW lol. Made it 4 weeks scratch free.

Use the kick to close/open feature to close the tailgate if your hands are full.

As another already said, the button that opens it inside the vehicle also closes it.

I wouldn’t say hate, but here are some things I think could be better:

- Standard brakes despite the added battery weight of xDrive30e and OEM towing package. On the x5, either of those two come with higher spec brembo brakes. Towing package is priced identical on x5 and x3
- Limited color choices of ambient light
- No standard side nets in trunk for small stuff
- Moonroof is all or nothing, which means nothing when the sun is up high. I like the perforated screen that allows some light and air through like in MINIs better.
- Radar warning is $25 for 15 months. What’s the point of such pettiness? Waze running on CarPlay will warn with audio for police and radar even if CarPlay is running in the background.

I'm sure the all unknowing BMW Genius wouldn't have a clue.
BMW Genius, Client Advisor, who dreams up these titles?
The problem is the American market. Most US car dealers hire people who want McJobs and aren't interested or passionate about vehicles. Most dealer owners are only in it for the money, not a passion for motoring.

My experience in Germany was quite different. BMW Genius is the person at the dealer who loves knowing everything possible about the operation and features of the BMW.

Same with client advisors. They exist to get you in the perfect car and keep you as a customer.

I was lucky here in VA. The sales manager was from Europe. Priority A was ordering my vehicle, Priority B was "the deal".

Loving it so far... I just bought a pre-owned 2021 X3 with M package. As I was bending down underneath the steering wheel and putting in the all weather floormat, I noticed both the driver's and front passenger's seats do not have a cover right under the thigh extension, and I can see all of the wiring and subwoofer under the seats. Is this how it came out from the factory?

Plastic paddle shifters. I loved just resting my fingers on the F30 paddles.

And this is a little one, but the pockets in the doors on my F30 were lined with thick felt, and these are just plastic. Not something you would ever notice, and not even sure why they did it, but it felt premium when I first discovered it.

This does not only apply to the X3, but all car types and manufacturers.... HOW IS BLIND SPOT DETECTION A LUXURY OPTION? This should be standard in all new cars, it is a major safety feature, we should not have to pay extra for that. Kinda like seatbelts.

Can't say I hate anything on this car but several annoyances that I've come across.

1. iDrive/carplay interaction - Sometimes my phone doesn't even connect. Even if I see carplay come up, it won't open up on the iDrive screen when I select it in the media menu. Other times the music starts playing w/o any input which is what I want.

2. AutoStart/Stop - the car shuts off before I'm completely stopped.

3. Cold starts every start - Anyone else experience this? The car is clearly hot enough after a 30 minute drive on the highway, I'll stop to get gas and it cold starts, with high RPM's.

4. Throttle response is odd in Sport+ - If I'm ever approaching a stoplight and it turns green before I stop (or any slow rolling acceleration) and I mash on the gas, there is a very noticeable delay between input and the car actually going. It's possible this happens in every driving mode but I haven't noticed it nearly as much as in Sport. Perhaps because I drive it the hardest in sport. Either way, I find it annoying.

5. Auto dimming mirrors - Did they really have to leave a 1/4" gap around the whole mirror that isn't part of the dimming element? Yes, light actually hits those spots on occasion and its blinding.

Despite these flaws I love my G01. By far the most enjoyable and useful car I've owned.

People suck and I hate them. Lol They assume that anyone who drives a BMW is a rich douchebag. Most aren't. We just enjoy the cars we drive.

This one bugs me too. I'm used to nice smooth stops and I can't do them when the engine cuts out just before a full stop, causing a bit of a lurch. By habit I now disable AutoStart/Stop every time I drive. I wouldn't mind AS/S if it was programmed to shut the engine off a half second after a stop instead of a half second before.

For about $50, get a "BDLink CX Bimmercode Bluetooth 5.1 BLE OBD2 Adapter for BMW/Mini, Works with iPhone/iOS & Android, Car Coding, OBD II Diagnostic Scanner" from Amazon and make it go away via coding, along with multitude of other annoying stuff.

Oh, sometimes the passenger mirror doesn't fold down to assist when reversing. It's a nice feature to help with the curb bumps.

Oops just saw your question...

One Push Down to Open & Close the hatch on the driver door button

Default to Adaptive Driving on startup

Auto Start Stop deactivated

Close the hatch using the Remote

Turn off ASD

Turn off the Startup warning

Lower the Front Seat Temperature Setting 1, 2 and 3; and

Turn on Full Text Display.

5 times "One-touch turn signal", it shows on the screen but can't be selected. (confirm not working by Stephan @ Bimmercode)
