Can the "3D" be removed from the Maxpider mats?

I have the Maxpider cargo liner, which I love, and would prefer their floor mats to the OEM offerings, but would rather not have permanent advertisements in my passenger compartment. I want to buy a floor mat, not a logo fixture.

Alternatively, are any other quality mats "brandless", or feature brand markings that can be easily and cleanly removed?

The Maxpider mats are built well....including the 3D logo unfortunately. It is metal with 2 very substantial metal rivets attaching it to the mat. You can certainly remove it but you'll be left with 2 rivet holes and an indentation.

Btw the cargo mat perfectly fits the weird x30e trunk
Yes. I have weathertech and that is how my front are. Just twist the oem Velcro to remove from the floor and twist the supplied j hook mounts from weathertech. Prevents it from slipping forward. Trunk liner fits perfect as well for mine with the spare tire

Hi mate,

Sorry for the late response...Ashamed to say I am yet to clean the car since installing them! They have held up very well. I ordered them from https://www.diamondcarmats.com shipping took around 4 weeks. They sometimes email me 20-30% off promo codes so happy to forward this on on if you are interested

Regarding the 3D Mats, it sounds like the logo cannot be removed without leaving holes. For those of you that have them, has anyone else come up with a way to make the "3D" logo less noticeable or disappear? I can't stand logos outside of BMW logos on my car (WeatherTech's are even worse).

Thanks for the advice in advance!

Anyway about their product. The cargo mats are made of a cheap plastic type material. While it might be durable (maybe), when items are on the cargo mat, they slide all over the place. In fact, I just tried out the Jeep Grand Cherokee heavy duty cargo mat from my previous 2014 Grand Cherokee. I thought for sure I would have to trim it to fit, but surprisingly it fits perfectly. Best part is, nothing slides about because it's made from more rubber than the cheap plastic in the Weathertech mat. And a new one was $60.00 delivered. I'm sure when the BMW cargo mat comes out for the X3, it will be of the same cheaper plastic material and cost 3 times as much. As for this one saying Jeep on it, unless you are looking for it, the black letters blend in with the rest of the black cargo mat. Plus I don't care if that part doesn't say BMW on it since it's covered by a trunk organizer.
In addition the Weathertech mat logos use cheap two sided tape that when you car is outside in a few 100 degree days get dislodged and fall off! I had the floor liners in my 328 and got rid of them. I have the cargo mat in my X5 and it is a POS. Went back to the OEM mats that the OP has pictured and couldn’t be happier.

I have the weathertech and my wife has the bmw liners. I like mine better, she likes hers better. It's really kind of a coin toss. I like that the weathertech covers the hump in the rear and covers a little more of the foot rest as well.

Boot Map for 30e UK owners

Purchased this for a good price of £34.98 inluding shipping.
Ok it does not cover the two rear storage side cutouts but the raised lip will stop any items from falling out when the hatch is raised.
Delivery was a week.
