Not sure if you're joking? But it's not...
Think you're seeing a reflection. In addition to what i said, other's have pointed out that it doesn't have M mirrors and it has the non-M side vent. If it was the X3 M, the vent would look like a boomerang and have a horizontal slat that was etched with "X3 M"

Looks like a European spec M40i to me.
Once again, BMW is playing their usual stupid games showing this side angle shot. No one cares what it looks like from the side (which is pretty much exactly the same). Everyone wants to see what the changes to the front and rear look like. |

Same here. And I knew the lazer lights were going to make it onto this LCI.

The green in the original post looks excellent. I hope it's metallic. It would look great next to my wife's 2018 G01 Sparkling Storm Brilliant Effekt which is an olive/brown/gold metallic that looks stunning in bright sunlight. Sparkling Storm originated as a Motorrad color.

I don’t know how you guys can tell some much from a side profile where the front end looks very blurry.
Regarding the green, I like the green, but green colors tend to be very cyclic every 5-10 years. They tend to be in vogue for a little while and then they fall out of vogue. A little while ago, you couldn’t find a green color by any manufacturer. The same goes for the color brown. When the two colors are not in vogue, your car may be referred to as “snot green” or “$@#& brown”. |

This green thing.. I don't get it. I mean British green on a Jag, or this green on a Defender.. but this green on the X3 doesn't do it for me. The hood in the leak pic looks flatter than current, with the front lights much thinner. Following this thread closely for more info/pics, jury is still out...

M40i is not an M model. That's X3M.

I know it's not the full M but that's not the point. My point is there is a small M badge on the side. Also the rims are exclusive to M40is if I remember correctly. Definitely don't think it's X3M.

As someone who has owned a green car in the past (Audi), the initial novelty is great but it wears thin very fast. I had color fatigue after about 9 months and wanted something else. Just a fair warning.
