Winter wheels came off. It's amazing how much softer the 20 inch winters are compared to the 21 summers.

Took her in for some TLC... Can anyone tell me what's meant by "performed ride height calibration" as it relates to the rear view camera recall??? How about "perform standard scope service?"

This should be interesting. Haven't seen anything larger than 22 on the X3. Be sure to post pics and tell us how the ride is.

Damn, I can't imagine the ride quality will be anything I'd want as a daily drive. One minor pothole and you'll need a new tire and wheel. 😒

24s

Wheels should be here next week. Going with the Delinte DS8 275/25/24 all the way around on a 24x9 blaque diamond bd-11. Should be interesting. Overall diameter is 29.4, almost an inch bigger so should not have to use lowering springs. Willing to sacrifice ride quality in the summer time for an aesthetically pleasing look .

Speaking of tires...just had someone come out and install a new set on the X3 today. Just replaced with the same Bridgestone RFTs that were from the factory. I'm boring.

Couldn't stomach paying the price for the black badges so I went ahead and de-badged instead. Pretty happy with how it looks.

This looks really elegant. Did they come off easily? Hairdryer or heat gun? No posts, right?

Yep, just a hairdryer, old credit card and then used some goo-gone to get off the adhesive outline that always gets left behind. Easy.

Chicagoan at heart but been a Phoenician for many years. No need for winters here!

I did the first after winter detailing. I used Mckees37 , FC717 and HD Sealant. Here is a hood reflection.

Standard scope is diagnostic check, resetting any service intervals, clearing fault codes & checking for any mandatory software updates.
